This is the oldest and most prestigious soccer tournament in the Poconos.  The Pocono Cup "Boys" Premier Tournament has a 21 year history behind it has played host to some of the greatest teams and individual players ever to come from the tri-state area.  Make no mistake about it, this is and has been one of the most competitive youth soccer tournaments around.

You can expect to see the majority of the regions select programs present at every age group in this event.  However, club teams competing at the highest level or those seeking to get there, find this tournament very appealing and challenging.  A maximum of 6 Guest players are allowed provided the players are carded and registered for league play.  Guest travel papers are required for those teams from out of state.  

Each team is guaranteed 4 preliminary matches with the opportunity to advance to playoff and final rounds.  A maximum of 6 games will be played.  Bracketing is determined by the number of teams that apply at each age group.  Scheduling is made 2 weeks prior to the event and done by committee blind draw.  However, teams will be separated in preliminary matches (when possible) by state and league play.  

Tournament scoring is based on a points system:

2 points are awarded for a win and 1 point is awarded for a tie.  Team and individual awards are given to all those making the playoffs.  

Age Qualifications:

U-10: born on or after August 1st - 1991

U-11: born on or after August 1st - 1990

U-12: born on or after August 1st - 1989

U-13: born on or after August 1st - 1988

U-14: born on or after August 1st - 1987

U-15: born on or after August 1st - 1986
